Petticoat Punishment Art

This is a drawing I did a few months ago for Carole Jean of the Petticoat Punishment Art site.  Carole Jean contacted me earlier this year via deviantART looking for a particular drawing of mine.  After I provided a link to the pic in question, I took the opportunity to say that I'd long thought about doing my own take on the Puyal painting of the petticoated boy sitting on a couch reading a book which is on the PPA homepage, having seen a few other artists do their own versions of that pic.

That conversation inspired me to finally sit down and actually draw this pic.  I think the conversation may have inspired Carole Jean as well, because I saw that shortly afterward, they made a post offering a free download of a book from the PPA site to anyone else who also did their own version of the couch boy image.  I still haven't gotten around to asking Carole Jean for anything, though. For one, I can't make up my mind what I want.  Besides, I mainly did this for the hell of it and not because I needed a reward.

Just to show how long I've thought about doing this drawing, for over a decade, I've been hanging onto a discarded American Girl Doll catalog I once found at the library just because it had a cover image that I thought might someday use as a reference for the pic I had in mind (though I ended up not even using it after all).

I obsessed way too much over what the book the boy is reading should look like.  Here's an alternate cover I created, then ultimately ditched after waffling for days over the color.

  1. Dear Dave,Found this new Art from yourself it's very good well up to your usual high standard,Anymore available? I also revisited the "Snow Scene Christmas Greetings" comparing with Sissies Kissing and definitely its Margot though the girl is very similar to Cheryl Rosatunte plus Rosie has a story on this site titled Balcony where a young man enjoys cleaning his flat wearing a French Maids Uniform caught by his neighbour Mrs Jones he ends up at her flat his name Charles.Oh Dave when your illustrating feminine undies the suspenders go under the panties for toilette reasons plus C50 is an April Fool i see oh well that gives Bambi more leeway with SMS Storyline there is a Website with Petticoated boys illusrations some of them going back to Victorian and 30s and 50 era's but alas i cannot recollect the name.On Fictionmania Unknown has place "Diary of an English Maid" the story of a young male suffering from Gynomastica raised and treated like a girl dominated by his Stepsister and her severe Aunt.Julia.

  2. Thank you, Julia. I am aware that for convenience’s sake, suspenders should be worn under the panties. I was thinking about that the other day when considering a new drawing. However, it seems that in a lot of photography and artwork, you see them on the outside, presumably because it just looks more aesthetically appealing that way.

I don’t have any more new artwork to share at this time. However, I have a vague but definite plan to start up my Patreon again relatively soon (hopefully) and so I’m hoping I can motivate myself to have several new finished drawings in the near future. Anything feminization related that I do will probably end up there first before I make it freely available elsewhere.

Out of curiosity, I checked Fictionmania, but didn’t see a story with the title you mentioned.

    1. Dear Dave,Sad to say that i accidentally mislead you re author Unknown they're the last writer in the "U" section what i should have said was "Miss High Heels" based on that Victorian Feminisation Classic "Diary of an English Maid" of which there are a few versions around basically its supposedly a true story of "Petticoating" a practice used in England from the 17thC to retrain the arrogant, obnoxious badly behaved sons of the elite from Scandalising Society. The last known case was in the 30s the son of a powerful family was actually forcibly Petticoated whilst his family pretended he was travelling abroad for a year. The "Treatment" worked and when he emerged he was a much nicer person fought in WW2 earning plaudits for bravery under fire later admitting his "Petticoating" had been an humiliating but worthwhile exercise i read this account in 1998 though his real name was kept quiet.Julia.

  3. What a great surprise! I know that cartoon well, and you definitely improved upon it. (That says a lot when the original was a Juan Puyal.) I also got a kick out of the alternative book title you added. It not only does it give depth to the image, but I especially enjoyed the glimpse it provided into your creative process. I have no talent as an artist, but I do know it when I see it.
I check this site often for moments like this, but I had given up on Carole Jean's site. Maybe there's hope for her return?
    Thanks again, and happy holidays.

    1. Thank you, Jnynj. Both modesty and honesty might forbid me from saying that I believe I improved on Puyal's image, but I am very happy with how my interpretation turned out.

I can't speak to the future of the Petticoat Punishment Art site. I admit that I also haven't had any reason to hope that it'll begin updating again, but if you're interested, Carole Jean has had an account on deviantART for forever and uploaded a lot of old artwork to their gallery relatively recently.
