Kammi's Serial

WHAT IF – PART 17

Previous:
Amos drove a little faster than usual on his way home. Both of them were aroused and there was a mad dash to run upstairs and shed their clothes. Mildred lay down on the bed and spread her legs. Amos dove in head first. Mildred climaxed right away. The second one took a little longer as they were no longer rushed. Amos was close to cuming too as he ground himself against the sheets. Mildred was running her hands through his hair while she gently pressed his face into her pussy.
“You know dear” she said, “I think tomorrow night I’d like to see what it’s like to have you between my legs with your hair in curlers. Okay?”
Amos could not answer verbally but his actions did. He went rigid and shot his load. When he recovered he said “Damn, I just changed these sheets this morning!”

The next day, the walls of the Holy Roller Baptist Church shook when Amos gave his sermon. He moved down from the pulpit so he could move about the elevated platform, gesticulating wildly to emphasize his points. He went through a litany of “sins” being committed in their town in the form of the Ten Commandments:

Women shall obey their husbands in all matters and be submissive to them…
A woman’s place is in the home, serving her husband and caring for their children…
Women shalt not place themselves in authority over men…
Men shalt not take up the practices of women like cooking and sewing and laundering…
Men shalt not wear feminine clothing nor hairstyles…
Men shalt work outside the home and provide for their families…
Women shalt not take pleasure from the sins of the flesh…

He carried on for almost two hours admonishing his congregation, telling how all these sins were an abomination before god. He compared their town to the biblical towns of Sodom and Gomorrah. Dryfuss Enterprises was mentioned several times and not in a flattering way.

“God will make known his anger and strike down those who speak against him. Mark my words, you sinners!”

As he always did when he delivered sermons of this type, Amos stared out at those in the church, making it seem like he was speaking directly to an individual. Today, he noticed that so many of the men hung their heads in shame. He felt sorry for them, knowing that so many, like his friend Jack, were enjoying life better than they ever had, and he was making them feel guilty about it. But it had to be done, he reasoned, if he was to continue being their pastor. And he knew that a few who had contacts with his superiors in the denominational headquarters would be telling them about what a great preacher he was and how he kept his congregation out of the arms of the devil. Standing outside the door after church greeting people, he picked up many subtle, and some not so subtle, looks from angry women.

“Really gave it to them today, honey” his wife remarked while they were finishing dinner. “One of your best performances. Now get up and do the dishes, I’m going to read. When you’re done you have an appointment with Madam Mildred, your new hairdresser” she added with a laugh.

Standing at the sink filled with soapy hot water, Amos looked out the window watching the torrents of rain beating against the glass. There had been rumblings of thunder all evening. Suddenly there was a bright flash and an ear splitting cracking. Amos felt electricity surge through his body. He rushed to the livingroom, grabbed Mildred by the hand and rushed out the door. He smelled smoke and saw flames at one end of the house. They had been struck by lightening. They ran next door and Amos used the neighbor’s phone to call the fire department which was, fortunately only a block away. The house was saved but had heavy damage. The neighbors saw Amos get down on his knees and pray silently. Yes, Amos thanked god for sparing their lives and much of their house but his most fervent prayers were for saving his hidden chest of money in the attic.

Of course the town was abuzz for days about this event. Just the fact of a house being struck by lightning and catching fire was more than enough to feed conversations at school, at work, in the coffee shops, the beauty shops etc. But there was an added twist to this situation – was god angry at the town as Pastor Reynolds had predicted or, as some dared to imply, was god angry at the Pastor himself for some wrong deed? The latter viewpoint was dismissed by most as ridiculous. Why would god be angry at such a righteous man as Amos? Though he would not admit it publically, Amos believed the minority viewpoint. He had no doubt that the bolt of lighting was aimed directly at himself and no other. He was a hypocrite, he admitted to himself. And the bible said a hypocrite was vomited from god’s mouth. Amos asked for god’s forgiveness and promised to change his evil ways.

A member of the church offered to house Pastor and Mrs. Reynolds in a mother-in-law apartment that had been added to her house. Her mother had lived there until her recent death. Oddly, the offer had been made by the wife to Mildred. The latter had asked if her husband approved of this and the wife said it did not matter.

“This is my decision and he will do what I say.”

So the Reynolds moved into their temporary quarters. It was estimated that it would take two months to repair the parsonage. Mildred, though frightened by what happened, quickly got past it while Amos remained badly shaken by not only how close they had come to death in the fire but more so by his epiphany
and promise to change his life. He discussed this with his wife on their first night in their new bedroom. Mildred was seated in front of a vanity mirror while Amos took her hair down. As he had done for almost every night since they had been married, and even for a couple of months before that, he removed the small delicate hair net around her bun, took out the hairpins holding it in place, then began gently brushing his wife’s thick, lustrous hair.

“I think that you should request a sabbatical to decide just what you want to do. You haven’t taken a vacation in three years and your contract promises a sabbatical every seven years and you haven’t taken any. I suggest you request six month’s leave of absence.  Mmmm, that feels so nice honey, even after all these years. Do you still enjoy doing my hair as much as I do?”

“Yes, my love, I do” he answered, drawing the hairbrush through her long hair.

“I can tell” she said as she reached between the folds of his robe and felt his very hard member.

The following morning, Amos reversed the procedure he had followed the evening before. He removed the frilly night bonnet Mildred wore and proceeded to put her hair back in a bun. He always liked spreading the so called invisible net over the tight, perfectly gathered hair. And he loved the soft kiss his wife gave him when he finished while she gently squeezed his hard penis.

After sharing breakfast with their hosts, Agnes and Leon, Mildred was given a tour of the house. The apartment had a bedroom, bathroom and a small livingroom. The kitchen would have to be shared, as well as the laundry room in the basement. The latter item raised a question in Mildred’s mind. She brought it up to her husband that evening, again while he brushed her hair.

“Amos, you have to use their laundry room. Is that going to be a problem?”

“Of course, Mildred, I can’t be seen doing women’s work,  especially after my sermon on Sunday. You know what a gossip Agnes is, it would be all over town before sunset and all over the county by noon the next day. Please, Mildred, can’t you do it just for this little while until I decide what I am going to do. Please, Mildred, please help me out.”

“Well, I suppose I can relearn how to do laundry for a while, but you will owe me big time when we get back in our house. But you’ll still do the ironing, won’t you?”

“Oh honey, how can I? Agnes has her iron and ironing board set up in the laundry room. That would be even worse than me doing the laundry. Oh please dear, just for this little time. I’ll make it up to you, I promise.”

“But I haven’t picked up an iron in thirty years. You started that three weeks after we began dating. Mommy thought it was so cute watching you do my ironing in the living room while I knit and watched television. Remember the night you came over and I was going out with the girls? You still stayed and did your chores. And when you offered to do Mommy’s ironing too, she fell in love with you and told me you were a keeper. Then there was the night I wasn’t feeling well and you cleaned my room and took a basket of my clothes to do a wash?
That was the last time I did any laundering. Mommy wanted to steal you away from me and marry you herself”

“Yes, I remember. And I remember the night when you came up behind me when I was ironing and put your hand down the front of my pants and made me promise to always take care of you like this and do all the housework after we were married?”

“Yes, I do and I remember that you agreed.”

“But you did not play fair. Any man would agree to anything if a pretty young lady was massaging his dick. “

“And you have loved every minute of it and especially all the pretty aprons Mommy made for you for every birthday and Christmas.”

“Yes, I agree. Hey, maybe we could send our clothes out to be done.”

“Ya, right, then everyone would say what a lazy wife I am. No, I guess I have to do what nearly every woman in the country does all the time. But I won’t like it one bit, Amos Reynolds, and you will indeed pay for it. For every half hour I spend doing the damn laundry and ironing, you will receive six of the best from my cane. Agreed?”

“Yes, dear, thank you.”

“There’s one more thing. I’ve been letting you off the hook all these years but tonight you will pleasure me with your tongue” Mildred said emphatically.

“But you’re…”

“Yes, it started this afternoon, right on schedule. I know you hate the thought of doing it but maybe you’d prefer to be seen by Agnes in your apron ironing my panties? What would your congregation say.”

“But is it safe?” Amos asked plaintively.

“Oh, I think so, dear. Come on, finish my hair and then I’ll introduce you to a taste you have never experienced before. Let’s call this Cherry Licking Time” she said and laughed. Amos was not laughing.

All of the concerns raised this evening were for naught. The next morning when Mildred was reluctantly carrying her laundry basket through the kitchen to the basement stairs, she was stopped by Agnes.

“Just leave that there. Leon is in charge of laundry in this house. If you have no objection, Mildred, he can throw your stuff in with ours. Just leave you clothes in your hamper and he’ll pick it up. Okay?”

“Sure, fine with me. Does he do ironing too?” she asked facetiously.

“Why of course, doesn’t one go with the other?” Agnes answered seriously. “Don’t you just love the way things have changed? My father would file for divorce if my mother had ever suggested he do a load of wash. Oh golly, I just thought, will the pastor have any objection to this? I mean, the way he spoke last Sunday.”

“No dear, he won’t object at all. Maybe we can even get him to give Leon a hand.”

“You’re so funny, Mildred. I can’t even imagine the pastor getting within twenty feet of a clothes washer, never mind an ironing board. I think I would see the second coming before that” she added and laughed heartily.

Mildred, relieved from the awful burden of doing laundry, decided it was time for her to make her move. She told her husband to relax and she would go to his office to see if there was anything urgent that required his attention. She was greeted warmly by Louise, the church secretary who expressed great concern about the fire and how the pastor was doing.

“There’s a lot to work out right now and the pastor is badly in need of a break. I’ll be talking to the Board of Trustees about that tomorrow night. I am going to check his desk to see if there’s anything I can handle. We are staying at the Collins’ so you can reach me there. Please deal with me alone until the pastor is feeling better. And when you do the bulletin for next Sunday, please list me for giving the sermon.”

Louise looked like she had been instantly frozen in place as she stared at Mildred wide eyed and with her mouth open.

“But…but…ah, that’s not allowed. A woman cannot preach in a Baptist church.”

“Just do it for now, Louise, I’ll be discussing it with the Board tomorrow. It’s only temporary and besides, we could never get a fill-in pastor on such short notice.”

Mildred went into Amos’s office and checked the mail and phone messages on his desk. Nothing was of any great importance and they could be put aside for now. She was intrigued, however, by a phone message from Lin Lu asking Amos to call her. Mildred sat at the desk and dialed the number she left. It was obviously her private number as it did not go through the operator and was picked up by Lin Lu herself. Mildred had a moment of terror wondering if Amos might be having an affair with Lin Lu. There really was not a reason for her concern. She knew that Amos loved her and her alone and would never have looked at another woman, or so she thought.

“This is Lin Lu, how may I help you” a beautifully accented voice answered.

“This is Mildred Reynolds, Miss Lu. I am returning the call you made to my husband. I’m afraid he’s going to be unavailable for a few weeks so is there something I can help you with?”

“I’m not sure, Mrs. Reynolds. I did want to speak to Reverend Reynolds about his sermon last Sunday, especially about his references to my company. But I understand if he’s not able to do so right now. Perhaps he can call me when he is feeling better.”

“Well, to tell you the truth, Miss Lu, that may not be for some time. He was deeply affected by the fire at our house. I know my husband very well and I might be able to answer any questions you might have. I think I know what you are concerned about.”

“I’m terribly sorry about your house and so relieved that neither of you were hurt and I would love to help you out in any way I can. As for my concerns, maybe I might be better off dealing with a woman than a man. I have heard a lot about you, Mrs. Reynolds, all very praiseworthy. Would it be possible for you and I to have lunch some time? We have a wonderful dining room here where we could meet in private. Is that possible?”

There was something very intoxicating about Lin Lu’s soft, charming voice that intrigued Mildred.

“Yes, that sounds very nice. When would you like to meet?”

“Is tomorrow at one possible? I know it’s very short notice but I am booked up solid for the next two weeks.”

“That will be fine, Miss Lu. I’ll look forward to it.”

“Wonderful, Mrs. Reynolds. Please come to the back of the building where I have my private entrance and I’ll have my secretary bring you up to the dining room. I’m looking forward to our meeting also.”

When she returned home she found Amos sitting on the back porch reading his bible. At least that’s what it seemed like but Mildred was not fooled. After kissing her husband she reached down and pulled the book open. As she expected, there was a paper back novel inside a cut out square in the phony bible, a trick Amos had been using for years to appear pious.

“New book? Any good?”

“Yes, dear, it’s very good. A new British author named Ian Fleming. The main character is someone named James Bond and he’s some sort of super spy.  He’s a bit of a ladies man, you might like it. Anything new at church?

“There was nothing that Louise can’t handle” she answered, omitting the call from Lin Lu. “So, did you hear the good news?”

“No, what’s that?”

“Turns out that Leon takes care of all the laundry here and he’ll be doing ours too, so you are spared.”

“Me? I’m spared? I thought we had an agreement, remember?”

“Yes, I remember. But since I won’t have to do any laundry then you won’t be getting the cane, at least not for that anyway. There are still lots of other things that I can spank you for, dear.”

“So I don’t have to do that other thing too?” he asked with hope in his eyes.

“What ‘other thing’ are you referring to, my dear?”

“You know, what you made me do last night.”

“You mean you going down on me during my period?”

Amos flinched at her language, totally out of line for a Baptist woman.

“Oh yes, that was wonderful. But just because poor Leon is going to be doing our laundry doesn’t excuse you for doing something that I should have made you do years ago. I’m really looking forward to a repeat performance tonight. And I’ll bet you’ll like it a lot more too. The second day is always the heaviest flow.”
